This solid brass statement ring is an understated classic piece. I took a flat sheet of brass metal, cut, and repeatedly hit it with a hammer to forge the ring's shape. Hundreds of blows from my hammer created these textured details. Your ring gradually tapers to the back for a comfortable and slightly ADJUSTABLE fit. The ring was cut, formed and sanded from a heavy sheet of metal. So, please expect your ring to have some weight. Depending on your body's chemistry, you may find wearing brass can turn the skin green - this is a natural, temporary reaction, and washes off easily with soap and water. You purchase will include simple care instructions to keep the ring bright and shiny.
